Title of the abstract
>> Be Clear and Specific
The title should clearly reflect the main topic and focus of the study.
>> Keep It Concise
A good title is brief but informative. Ideally, it should be 10–15 words and avoid unnecessary wording.
>> Reflect the Key Variables or Theme
The title should indicate the main concepts, variables, or issues addressed in the study.
>> Highlight the Context (if relevant)
If the research is context-specific, mention the country, region, sector, or population studied.
>> Avoid Abbreviations and Jargon
Do not use abbreviations, technical symbols, or discipline-specific jargon unless they are widely known.
>> Use Appropriate Academic Language
Titles should be formal and academic. Avoid casual language or questions.
>> Consider a Two-Part Title (Optional)
A main title followed by a subtitle can clarify the research focus.
Example:
Digital Platforms and Tourism Development: Evidence from Small Tourism Service Providers
>> Font size & Format
14 pt., Bold, Centred, Times New Roman
>> Ensure Consistency with the Abstract
The title must accurately represent the objectives, methodology, and findings described in the abstract.

Abstract Content
The abstract should be written in clear and concise language (Either in English or Sinhala) and must include the following components:
>> Background / ContextBriefly introduce the research topic or the context of the study. Explain why the issue is important and relevant to the conference theme or discipline.
>> Research Problem and Research Objective/s
Clearly state the research problem, key research question(s) and the main objective of the study.
>> Methodology
Briefly describe the research approach or methods used in the study (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, data collection procedure, and data analysis method).
>> Key Findings
Summarize the main findings of the research.
>> Conclusions, Implications / Contribution
Explain the significance of the study and how it contributes to theory, policy, or practice in the relevant field.
