WELCOME TO URCSS 2026
Welcome to the Undergraduate Research Symposium 2025 for Social Science! This year, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of showcasing the outstanding research achievements of undergraduate students in the dynamic field of social sciences.
INTENTION of URCSS
The Undergraduate Research Conference in Social Sciences is purposed to offer a lively and inclusive forum for undergraduate students to present their research, interact with scholars, and further the development of knowledge within the social sciences. The conference endeavors to promote intellectual inquiry, critical reasoning, and interdisciplinary synergy among future scholars through the presentation of novel research in disciplines including sociology, psychology, political science, economics, anthropology, and other related areas. One of the main goals of this conference is to empower undergraduate researchers by providing them with the ability to present their research in a professional academic environment. Through their involvement, students will learn by presenting their research, getting constructive criticism from students and faculty, and developing their academic and presentation skills. The conference also promotes mentorship and networking, exposing students to faculty members, graduate students, and professionals who can mentor their academic and professional growth. Finally, this conference is a celebration of excellence in undergraduate research, encouraging the next generation of social scientists to engage in rigorous investigation and valuable contribution to their disciplines. We hope, through this conference, to foster a culture of research activity, collaboration, and academic development that will last long after the conference is over.
