GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT /EXTENDED ABSTRACT

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation based on original research for consideration at the International Conference on Library and Information Management -2023 (ICLIM-2023). To submit your paper please follow the general guidelines outlined below.

Papers are invited on the below listed conference tracks, numbered 1 to 8, as well as the theme of the conference:

Abstract:

  • An abstract is a compendious summary of a research paper’s substance including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion.
  • It should be one paragraph with a word limit of 300-350.
  • Keywords should be provided as a must (no more than 05 words).
  • Keywords should be written in lowercase letters (Not applicable to names/scientific names) and should be separated with commas.
  • Please do not include subheadings, bullets, lists and header/footer in the abstract.
  • Abstract titles should be short, but descriptive. Informative titles, indicating key points are encouraged. Abbreviations should not be used in the title.
Language

Authors who feel their English language manuscript may require editing to eliminate possible grammatical or spelling errors and to conform to correct scientific English may wish to use relevant editing apps or service.

Extended Abstract

The word count of the Extended Abstract should be between 1000 and 1200 words. Please state a maximum of five (05) key references only. The Extended Abstract should be organized as follows:

  • Materials and Methods
  • Significant of the Study
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion & Recommendations
  • References

Evaluation Process
  • All papers will go through a blind review process and feedback will be shared with contributors.
  • Papers that are accepted will be published in the Conference Proceedings

Instructions for the oral presentation

The presentation should last approximately 15 minutes. You can download a template for presentations. Upon request, we will deliver the appropriate tools. To guarantee that all essential equipment is available, please arrive early for your presentation.
