Professor Kathryn Pavlovich

Kathryn is a professor in strategic management, entrepreneurship and sustainability.  She is particularly interested in the intersection between these three fields and how they may create system change, and the role that organisations can play in shaping this change.  Kathryn is concerned at the rate of climate change, and thus we need new forms of organisation to attend to these challenges. Her teaching and research continues to focus on collaborative forms of organising - from the management of tourism destinations to how the UN SDGs can engage with change 'to leave no-one behind'.
Editorial work is important to her. Kathryn is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management, Spirituality and Religion; and on the editorial boards of leading journals that include: Academy of Management Perspectives, Academy of Management Learning and education, Journal of Business Ethics and Journal of Management Education.  She also regularly reviews for other leading journals.
Kathryn has been a member of the Academy of Management for over twenty years. During that time, she has been on the five-year leadership track for the Management, Spirituality and Religion Interest Group; received multiple best paper awards; and been involved in governance committees for the Academy.
