Pre-Conference Workshop 1

In line with the key objective of RCSoTL, which is providing the foundational knowledge on research on teaching and learning for the academics, the first pre-conference workshop was held in hybrid mode on the 17 th of March 2025 at the Staff Development Centre auditorium, University of Kelaniya.

The workshop titled “An introduction to education research and scholarship” was facilitated by Prof. Lynn Monroux, Academic lead of healthcare professions education research, School of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, NSW, Australia, who has extensive experience and expertise on educational research. This workshop consisted of a presentation by Prof. Lynn Monroux, and interactive activities, which provided deeper insights into education research. The workshop was attended by 50 participants who represented six Faculties of the University of Kelaniya.
