Dr. Kunihiro HamadaDr. Kunihiro Hamada obtained his B. Eng., M. Eng., and D. Eng. degree in the field of polymer chemistry from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He has been the President of Shinshu University since October, 2015, after a Vice President and a Dean at Faculty of Textile Science & Technology. In addition, he was a Visiting Scholar at College of Textiles, North Carolina State University, U.S.A, from March, 1995 to February, 1996. His main research field is dyeing chemistry, for example, the application of bolaform electrolytes as dyeing auxiliaries, the elucidation of binding mechanism of dyes with fibers, and so on. He has authored or co-authored about 80 journal articles, 40 reviews, and 10 books. He has won research awards from the Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan. |
