Submissions should be original, previously unpublished work not currently under review by other publications.

 

 

Conference Management Toolkit Guideline

Abstracts Submission:

The abstract submission is a two-step process.

1. First step – Submit the Abstract.

Please download and use the IPRC2019_Abstract-Template.docx file.

Please submit the abstract (first submission) by November 15, 2019.

2. Second step – Submit the Final version of the Camera-Ready Abstract that is ready to print on the conference proceedings book.

Please download and use the IPRC2019_Camera-Ready Abstract Template.docx file.

Please submit the Final Camera-Ready abstract (second submission) by November 30, 2019.

Save and submit your abstract file in .doc (word 97-2003 document) or .docx formats. Only the files submitted as .doc or .docx will be accepted for the review process.

Important

1)Less than 500 words, must be written in English or Sinhala.

2)Abstract in English language abstract should not exceed 500 words in 11 pt, Times New Roman font, single line spaced. With the exact word count, the abstract should not exceed one page.

3)Abstract in Sinhala language abstract should not exceed 500 words in 11 pt, FMAbaya font, single line spaced. With the exact word count, the abstract should not exceed one page.

4)Include at least 5 keywords.

 

  • Please DO NOT include your name, email address or any personal information in the abstract.
  • Abstracts in proper formats will only be used for the review process. Once your abstract is accepted for a presentation / poster you have to make the necessary revisions as requested by the reviewers.
  • Once you received the acceptance notification, you have to make the necessary revisions as requested by the reviewers on the Camera-Ready abstract and submit only the Final Version of the Camera-Ready Abstract by November 30, 2019 that is ready to print on the conference proceedings book.
  • The poster abstracts will be published in the POSTER SECTION of the conference proceedings.

 

General Instructions on Paper Review Process

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a committee and assessed on the basis of originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of expression.
  • Accepted authors will be notified by November 20, 2019.
  • The review committee may recommend rejection of abstracts that do not take account of reviewers’ requirements and expectations in an acceptable manner.
  • The conference chair reserves the right to remove abstracts from the conference proceedings that do not meet the requirements.
